So in total you need a patch and a auth file generator/crack. exe, together with the dll files, which are in Live 10 Suite\Program Your patch has to go to the same place as the original. Not to Live 10 Suite, otherwise it won't work. Let your patch extract everything to this directory. it has to go to Ableton\Live 10 Suite\ Program MOST IMPORTANTLY you have to make sure your patch.exe is installed in the right folder. make sure to follow dave mcboof's instructions above (including blocking ableton from the internet, I also blocked ableton index.exe)Ģ. but since assumingly a couple of people are directed from google to find this thread, I figured I'll share how to fix the issue.ġ. Sorry for necromancing this (although last post is from march).
If anything is unclear or yall have questions just ask If it is yellow and says "on" click it and it should turn off. Now to prevent this from happening again go into the preferences (top left>options>preferences) and click on the license page and where it says "get automatic updates" make sure the button next to it says "off" and is colored gray. Simply uninstall and the re-install Ableton Live 10 Suite (make sure you are back on the 10.0.1 version though) then run the program and it should go back to how you left it authorized and all. If everything worked the next tab to pop up should say that you have successfully authorized the programĮDIT: the next day after opening ableton it asked me to authorize again and eventually i realized that happened because it auto updated over night so if this happens you do not have to repeat the whole process I explained if you have already done it. Open the files explorer and find the license you saved and drag and drop it anywhere onto the Ableton window. After you save the license go back to Ableton Live 10 Suite programġ1. If you did as i said it should work, if it doesnt go back and retrace your steps and see where things went wrong.ġ0. Now comes the moment of truth and I hope you have not closed any of the tabs yet. Save the generated license to the Ableton installation folder FYI DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE LICENSE OR ELSE ABLETON WILL NOT RECOGNIZE IT Run R2R's KeyGen and copy paste the hardware code from the note into the generator and click "Generate"ĩ. Save the displayed text that includes the hardware code to a note by clicking the "save" button the note should open automatically, if not, open it manually through files explorerĨ.
Click "No internet connection on this device" (or however it goes) so you can authorize it offline.ħ. After Ableton Live 10 Suite is blocked from the internet aka "reaching out" open up the program and it should pop up the authorization tabĦ. In this video the guy explains how to properly block the program from "reaching out" using its connection to the internet.ĥ.
